Weland also have an automatic punching plant, type Salvagnini that incorporates equipment for handling work pieces in the machine as well as the discharge and stacking of scrap “skeletons”. The plant is also equipped with a three-dimensionally working picking device for discharge and stacking of the punched plate on pallets.

The plant can handle plates in sizes up to 3000 x 1500 mm and plate thickness of up to 3 mm. The punching machine is equipped with 45 different tools.

The final stage of the plant consists of a panel folding machine for automatic all-round folding capable of both simple and more complicated folding e.g double folds or angled folding. The plant is especially suited for the production of drawers, cabinets and similar products. Plate thickness 2 mm maximum. The diagonal elimension of the plate must not exceed 2700 mm when being handled automatically on the working table.
