Weland has around twenty laser cutting machines working in shift operation. Several machines are equipped with linear robots for picking and stacking cut-out pieces and remaining scrap skeletons.

Our total cutting capacity amounts to more than 35 tons of plate per working day.

CAM Cutting

Our CAD-equipment is connected on-line to the laser cutters. This results in fast deliveries and close tolerances.We would be delighted to assist you with CAD-drawings.

If you work with auto-CAD, you can send your drawing on CD or by e-mail, saved in DXF format. In this way you save programming cost.

Prototype Manufacture

Laser Cutting is a highly suitable method for the manufacture of prototypes and products in small and medium size batches. Due to the fact that no special tools have to be manufactured, a very economical and fast method of manufacture is achieved.

Material

Our laser cutters are designed for cutting carbon steel up to 20 mm, stainless steel up to 8 mm and aluminium up to 3 mm thickness. Other types of material can also be cut, but a test is recommended. Maximum plate size 6000 x 3000 mm.

Cut Faces

Laser Cutting produces precise right angle cuts. The cut faces are very smooth and finish grinding is normally not required. (tolerance ± 0,1 mm).

Large Plate Sizes

Our machinery equipment is constantly updated. Our latest installed laser cutting machines are capable of handling plate sizes of up to 6000 x 3000 mm. Plate in large formats are in stock.
