Slit Plank Type Flooring

Slit plank type flooring is used for most types of industrial flooring, walkways, treads etc. Slit plank type flooring has excellent anti-slip properties thanks to its serrated top face and lets through dirt, oil and other spillage. Thanks to its good perviousity slit plank type flooring normally does not require cleaning.

Slit plank type flooring possesses high load bearing capacity, which means that the supporting beams can be arranged at larger distances apart, making construction cheaper.

Easy to handle and mount

Slit plank type flooring consists of planks making even long-sized planks easy to handle. A plank never weighs more than a person is able to carry.

Fixings are available for grating height 40 and 70 mm.

Anti-Slip Safety

Slit plank type flooring is punched with serrated tops as standard giving maximum anti-slip properties.

Safe

In certain environments, for instance within the offshore industry, where the demand exists that a 15 mm dia. ball must not fall through the openings. The openings of slit plank type flooring are sized 45 x 14 mm.

High Load Bearing Capacity

Slit plank type flooring is manufactured as standard in two different heights - 40 and 70 mm. It has high load bearing capacity.

Slit Plank Type Flooring for Scaffolds

Slit plank type flooring used for scaffolding possesses good anti-slip properties. The planks have low weight and are equipped with easy to fit hooks preventing the planks from parting from each other.

The planks are manufactured from 2 mm thick sheet metal and supplied hot dip galvanized.

Standard Slit Plank Type Flooring

Slit plank type flooring is manufactured as standard from 2 mm thick steel sheet metal. The manufacturing process is fully automized and starts from coil. The sheet is punched, formed and cut-to-length to the required size.

Stainless

Slit plank type flooring from stainless steel EN 1.4301 or EN 1.4404 is manufactured from 1.5 mm gauge material and with plank width of 250 mm.

Aluminum

Slit plank type flooring of aluminum is manufactured from 3 mm gauge material in widths of up to 370 mm.

Surface treatment

Hot dip galvanizing in accordance with SS-EN ISO 1461 is normally applied for the surface treatment of slit plank type flooring. It can also be supplied untreated or painted.

Size

Slit plank type flooring is manufactured in widths of 130 - 500 mm and lengths of up to 4 metres.

Customer-Adapted

Slit plank type flooring can be shaped and cut entirely to customer´s wishes. All work is carried out at our factory before hot dip galvanizing.

Standard length

Standard length 3.000 mm. Maximum length of grating suitable for bending bent 4.000 mm.
