Aluminum gangways

Weland also manufacture gangways for disabled people from extruded aluminum profiles.They are stocked in lengths of 3 and 6 metres. The gangway has low weight, is strong and easily assembled. Thanks to its low weight the gangway can also be used for temporary applications and be easily removed to another place.

Summary of Building Rules:

All buildings offering access to the public must have at least one entrance without stairtreads.
The width of the gangway must be minimum 1300 mm (900 mm within and to the flat).
The length of the gangway is limited to 6 metres. If the length exceeds this measure, a rest landing must be added.
The slope of the gangway must not exceed 1:12.
